California Institute of the Arts
I am starting my first year at the California Institute of the Arts for graphic design in the fall. I can’t put in words how happy I am to be attending this university, to be surrounded by great faculty/students and to become part of such a respected community. For me, attending an art school for the first time, I have a bit of eagerness in me. How different can it be from the public school lifestyle? How are the professors? How are the class rooms? What about your classmates? How hard will the critiques be? These are all things that are running through my mind but not in a frightful manner, rather in an exciting way. I’m happy to start my art school odyssey and I’m happy to have found my love early on in life, graphic design. Design is something I have a huge passion for and CalArts seems to be a great place to practice my creativity and making. Let’s see how it goes.
