BMW Designworks

Back to work.

The work below is from my six month long mentorship at BMW Designworks USA. This project required a bit of research, I was directed to portray what makes attending CSUCI a great educational experience and how it may differ from other schools. I was required to take photos around campus of students, also to interview both students and professors to see what they thought of the current design. After this research I came up with a few different versions of the logo you see below.

From there I essentially created a style-guide that included a color scheme, a type regiment, custom typeface and design ornaments. With this style guide I created a brochure (tri-fold), a three page 7×10 publication, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, a poster campaign and various 4×6 postcards.

In the end, I developed a strong visual identity that hopefully inspires people to attend the CSU Channel Islands Art and Design program.
